Stock library

I’m interested in joining a stock library but have no idea where to start any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What sort of stock library?
Rights managed? Or Royalty Free?

What kind of images do you have?
General or covering a specialist subject?

Have a look at the BAPLA website - it will give you some idea of the variety of photolibraries out there.

Royalty Free is purchase once for a one off price and re-use over and over again without your control.

Rights Managed is more controlled regarding distribution volume, size, repeatition etc.
