The International Garden Photographer of the Year has opened for Entries.

The International Garden Photographer of the Year 2009 has opened for entries, which can be from any Country in the World.
Categories include Plant Portraits, Wildlife in the Garden, Garden Views, People in the Garden, Trees, World Botanic Garden and The Edible Garden and the competition is split into three sections of : Young Garden Photographer, Garden Photographer-Single Image and Garden Photographer-Portfolio. There is also a special award for Japanese Gardens sponsored by BISES, a leading Japanese gardening magazine.
