Kenko sponsors a new International Filter Competition

The Kenko group of companies, which include Kenko, Slik tripods and Hoya filters has announced sponsorship of an international filter competition.
The competition is open to anyone who has taken a photograph using any type of filter. Entries are not restricted to using Kenko or Hoya filters – filters used may be from any manufacturer.
Images can be of any subject and taken on digital or film cameras, black and white or colour, however they must portray effective use of filters and Kenko must receive them by the 31 December 2009.
There are a total of 139 prizes to be won including the top prize - Kenko group products to the value of 500,000 Yen. The total prize value is a massive 2,900,000 Yen! (Editor's note: We won't try converting that until nearer the closing date!)
