The Manfrotto School of Xcellence will be holding a series of free webinars, starting with a one-hour online tutorial with Stacy Pearsall, NPPA Military Photographer of the Year.
Stacy Pearsall started as a military photographer at the age of 17 and became the only woman to win the NPPA Military Photographer of the Year award twice. As a combat photojournalist, she was featured in international publications such as "Popular Photography", "Newsweek" and even "Oprah". She now owns and runs a well-known photographic education centre called "The Charleston Center for Photography" and is one of the founders of Legion Photo, a group of combat-photographer veterans.
Stacy will be sharing her secrets for successful on-location portraiture, with a particular focus on how to ensure consistent results throughout long term, multi-location portrait shoots, such as her own Veterans Portrait Project.
Attendees will learn all they need to know in order to plan successful location portrait shoots, finding out how to set up consistent lighting with portable studios. Stacy will share what’s in her own photography kit bag, including Manfrotto light stands, clamps and portable lighting kits. She will also discuss the importance of having back up gear in case conditions change on location.
The webinar is free and open to all. For more details and to register, please visit the Go To Meeting website.
